I’m going to let you in on a secret I already know about your audience (yes we’ve just met but hear me out).
What I’ve learned over 6 years of helping Service Providers, Coaches & Educators sell tens of thousands of courses, services, coaching & products - is that people don’t like being sold to.
But they do like buying.
Your copy should be written like that time your bestie finally dumped that manchild but was considering going back. She needs a loving yet straight-talking approach to stop her spending the rest of her life scraping the bottom of the boy barrel.
She knows her dating resume is lowbrow. But she doesn’t know why or how to change it.
So you enlighten her with tales of that year you kissed 17 frogs, what it was that made you say ‘no more!’, how you improved your self-worth through pole dancing classes (yes, Queen) & how you now never settle for anything less than princess treatment from potential suitors.
She laughs, she cries & she listens. She trusts you because you’ve been there.
By the afternoon she’s taken your advice & has deleted all the dating apps, signed up for sourdough making classes, & booked on to reformer pilates every Tuesday.
Mission accomplished.
The language feels more genuine, the reader connects on a deeper level, & the decision making process shortens because they trust you faster.
And trust is what creates buyers, duh.
A wizz with words & numbers, my Google Drive is equal parts Docs & Sheets (yes, your sales page copy comes complete with revenue tracking dashboard ‘cause I’m all about measuring ROI).
Show me another creative who also loves Math. I’ll wait.
I’ve helped businesses thrive during some of the most inhospitable climates.
A global pandemic, the sudden surge in competitors, constant algorithm updates, a cost of living crisis & a “noones buying anymore” narrative… I could go on.
My knack for consistently selling out my clients' offers, even during unprecedented times, is down to my empathic ability (sensitive girly over here) to always read the room.
I used to see my shy, non-attention seeking self as a weakness (unless I’m 4 Cava’s deep which is like a lithium upgrade to my social battery).
But my preference for listening & observing over hearing the sound of my own voice is what makes me damn good at sussing people out.
Selling your product is not just about writing a list of why it’s so great & everything they get if they buy it. Boooriiing.
It’s Psychology, baby (& yeh, I did drop out of A-level Psychology class but that’s ‘cause I’m a rebel, not because I’m not obsessed with the subject).

I'll overthink your sales page headline to the point where I'm lying awake at 3am trying to decide the winner (perfectionism will ultimately be the death of me).

When I say ‘sales in your sleep’ it’s actually true & I’m not just jumping on the ‘passive income’ bandwagon (I fucking hate that phrase).

I work with anyone who makes a positive impact on the world because it makes me feel warm & fuzzy to support them in their mission.
